At the beginning of the new millennium we started the 21st century in a new building in the Palm Bluff area that was somewhat undeveloped at the time. We made a calculated leap of faith that Fresno’s new commercial and business area would develop in this locale, and it has, with an elegance and sophistication sustainable for decades into the future.
This year CENTURY 21 C. Watson is undertaking a major remodeling of our Company building interior, looking toward the future and embracing the tremendous influence technology has in today’s world. Our goal is an open interactive space where our associates can gather in a state-of-the-art facility, meet their clients in a relaxed family-like yet professional atmosphere reflective of the warm and gracious culture that is always present at CENTURY 21 C. Watson Real Estate.
When I entered the real estate profession in 1996 as a hard-working salesperson, I had the privilege of learning the business from some of the best mentors in the business—my dad, John Carey Sr., and many associates still with our Company. Now, as our Vice President, my goal is to make sure all our associates have what they need to be successful—the tools to serve buyers and sellers in the best way possible.
My goal for CENTURY 21 C. Watson is to continue to grow the company by bringing in new agents of all ages and generations; we can help anybody transition from their old employment into a satisfying real estate career. We really enjoy training new young agents who are looking to make real estate a life-long career. It is a personal pleasure for me to watch a young person develop their own real estate practice from a job to a profession as they grow in experience and knowledge, and really grasp the depth of meaning in owning a home, in owning real property in America. This is a great time to be a real estate professional.
As my daughter is nearing completion of high school, I am reminded that we have an ever-present need for housing in our valley, and that each generation will have dreams and expectations of where and how they want to live and raise their own families. I want my daughter’s future to be full of hope and optimism, and my wish for all of us that live in this area is to continue to prosper and enjoy the good life we cherish here in the Central San Joaquin Valley. Remember every day to be thankful for the goodness we have, the freedom we enjoy and the richness of our lives…I do! Thank you for your continued patronage of CENTURY 21 C. Watson Real Estate. We look forward to seeing you soon.
